About Ruth
Ruth was born and raised in Sheboygan. A third generation American – Mexican whose son, father, and grandfather served in the United States Military. Ruth went to Sheboygan schools and later received her Associates Degree of Nursing from Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC).
In college, Ruth was extremely active in student government. She held the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Student Senate. She was involved with the American Association of Community Colleges. She has always been an advocate for people. The passion she had then is the same passion she continues to have in regards to leadership roles and being an advocate for our constitutional and civil rights.
A dedicated nurse from 2007-2020 until she became a displaced worker after being discharged from her employment due to Covid mandates. Ruth currently works in Sheboygan Falls manufacturing plastics.
Ruth is the youngest of 7 children, a mother of four, and has one grandchild. She is an active member of Church Outside The Box and member outreach.
